Last Chance To Vote!

Its Friday 5th, which means that this is your last chance to get your vote in and have your say on who is the new member of Youth Parliament representing your views.

There are two ways left for you to vote:

Online at: vote.adam4myp.com

Or 

By texting 'vote adam' 
To: 60003

You only have until midnight tonight to cast your vote and have your say in this years Youth Parliament elections. Also, remember to encourage all your friends who are eligible to vote to do so.

Voting... A Week Left To Go.


Hi everyone,

So, its now half way through the voting period, and its been a busy week of campaigning which looks set to continue next week.

Remember to vote for me you can either:


Remember, your vote does count and can make all the difference in winning or losing.
Voting is for people aged 11-18, living in Staffordshire and is one vote per person.

You can read why you should vote for me in my election statement and also read what I have to say about my chosen issues in there own articles which are being posted up over the next week.

Voting has now been going since Saturday, and if you have not voted yet you still can by either:



  • Texting: 'vote adam'                                                          
    To: 60003                                                                            
  • online at: vote.adam4myp.com                                         
  • and in ballot boxes which will be going around schools.


~ The following article about the UK Youth Parliament was in the Burton Mail dated Tuesday, January 26, 2010:




Seven young people from the Burton area are making a stand for Staffordshire as they step up their campaigns to be elected to the UK Youth parliament.


Staffordshire County Council's youth service is calling on young people across the county to 'make your say count' by voting in this year's UK Youth Parliament elections.


A total of 25 Candidates from Staffordshire are standing to become one of four members of Youth Parliament and four deputies for the four constituencies of Staffordshire.


MYP voting started on Saturday and ends at midnight on Friday, February 5. Young people can text their vote by putting 'vote, then a space and then the name of the candidate they want to vote for to 60003. 


Alternatively, to vote online visit www.staffordshire.gov.uk/ukyp where details of all the prospective candidates and their personal statements can be found. 


Darren Foley, Staffordshire youth Service Participation Worker, said: "we're really looking forward to young people from all over Staffordshire voting for who they want to represent their views at local and national level.


"with voting started, we want young people to vote. Votes do count and are absolutely imperative to make sure the right person is elected, and make sure that services for young people continue to improve both across Staffordshire, nationally and internationally.


"its time to stand up and make your voice heard."

How To Vote





There are three ways in which you can vote for me by:

  • Text: 'vote adam'  To: 60003
    texts cost standard network rate, and count as a normal text message for the purpose of contracts.
  • Online by going to: VOTE ADAM and following the instructions on the page
  • By ballot boxes: which will be located in schools and youth centres across the east division.
